Frequently Asked Questions 

This Qualsafe level 3 award in emergency first aid course covers the following subjects: minor injuries, including burns, primary survey, CPR and AED, unconscious casualty, including seizures and the recovery position, choking and serious bleeding. For workplaces where there is an identified risk of major bleeding, an additional module covering the use of tourniquets and wound packing can be covered. 
The emergency first aid course can also be available as a blended learning course which means learners will complete an online e-learning course with only two days training in the classroom. Appropriate first aid training must include some face-to-face training and assessment of practical skills. 
After completing your first aid at work training course, you will be awarded a certificate, which will be valid for three years. It’s really important to keep a note in your calendar of when your certificate expires.
